In a flash of modern warfare (Ukraine? Afghanistan? Vietnam? Poland? Hiroshima? Israel? Gaza?), a mother loses her child. She becomes a Trojan woman, compelled to embody every iconic character in Euripides’ classic play.

    UNDERSTUDY (IRINA)

    Madelyn is an actor and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her recent theater credits include Simon and his Shoes (The Tank), The Invention of Tragedy (The Flea Theater), and Rich Kids (Sitting Shotgun). In 2021, she performed alongside Drita Kabashi in the European tour of When We Went Electronic, directed by Meghan Finn. Her film credits include the short Night Out, which premiered at Northern Horror Fest 2019. Madelyn is a proud graduate of Naropa University's Contemporary Performance MFA and UC Santa Barbara's conservatory acting program.
