PIRIRA

As the tiny African nation of Malawi erupts in riots around them, American aid workers Jack and Ericka take shelter in the storage room of a struggling NGO. Half a world away, Malawian student Gilbert and his gay co-worker Chad begin another day in the back room of a Manhattan florist. This powerful new play explores the challenges of international aid across interpersonal borders, and how we bridge seemingly impossible cultural divides.

Julian J. Torres is an ebullient and loquacious 39-year-old college re-entry student trying for a new start and a better life after a troubled youth. English teacher Helen Payne is impressed despite herself, and mentors Julian until a writing assignment reveals that they were once on opposite sides of a similar violent act. As the holidays approach, the two struggle to find reconciliation and forgiveness.

Roan, an NSA Analyst, isn't even allowed to tell her wife the location of her next business trip. When her personal life collides with national security, it launches launches a beautiful and high-stakes adventure that illuminates the cost of secrecy.

HEARTLAND

Dr. Harold Banks is a retired professor of Comparative Literature and Afghan Studies, waiting for his adopted daughter to return from teaching in Afghanistan. When Nazrullah, an Afghan refugee, arrives in Nebraska bearing Harold's daughter's copies of The Diary of Anne Frank and The Old Man and the Sea, the two men become unlikely roommates. Set in both Maidan Shar and Omaha, Heartland is the story of a family, a secret, and an extraordinary friendship.

This limited subscription is for Preview and Thursday performances only. At just $99 for all four shows you save 15% off of single ticket prices.

Under 30 Pass

We want you to become a life-long Luna fan, so we're offering this special pass to young theater goers - if you are under 30 it's just $62 for all four shows, 60% off of single ticket prices.
